After her first season in the Netball Super League (NSL) last year was prematurely terminated, Magic Marlins midfielder Tan Yi Jie was keen to make up for lost time this year. But she will have to wait as the first round of the tournament, slated to start next Saturday, has been cancelled due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

It will feature just one round, instead of the usual two, starting from Feb 20 before the semi-finals and finals. Last year, the tournament was halted after both preliminary rounds were completed and Sneakers Stingrays were declared champions after topping the table.
